The Leveler patented solution is the culmination of a 16-year quest by Jim Redburn to develop a surge suppression system that takes into account not only the destructive properties of voltage, but also the destructive properties of current.  Jim’s early experience in monitoring network system failures lead to an in-depth study of transients.  The first fruits of this intellectual labor resulted in him becoming one of the earliest developers of surge suppression systems.  Still not satisfied with the performance of those systems, he continued his research with input from co-inventor Len Webster.  Together, they realized that implementing a basic principal of physics would accomplish Jim’s goal to eliminate noise and harmonic distortion along with voltage and current surge suppression in a single circuit.
